The Gary Portelli-trained daughter of Manhattan Rain is one of just seven two-year-olds in the mix for this seasonâs $250,000 Group 2 Silver Slipper Stakes (1100m).
The Rosehill showdown is a traditional lead-up to the $3.5 million Group 1 Golden Slipper Stakes (1200m) back at the track on March 18.
She Will Reign currently leads futures Golden Slipper Stakes betting at Ladbrokes.com.au and is firm $1.65 top elect in the Silver Slipper Stakes odds for this weekend.
Ben Melham is booked for the ride from barrier five after riding the filly for her last start romp home in the mud to take out Randwickâs Inglis Nursery (1000m0 by four lengths in December.
That followed her runaway 8.3 length victory over 1000m at Kembla Grange on debut.
She Will Reign trialled well on February 6 in the same blistering form that she won her two career openers with and is the one to beat.
The fillyâs spot in the Golden Slipper Stakes field is on the line and she needs the Group 2 win on Saturday to secure enough prize money to make it into the worldâs richest race for juveniles.
Two other runners are also under double-figures in Silver Slipper Stakes betting on Saturday with Khan ($4.60) and Veranillo ($6).
Kerrin McEvoy â who rode Sepoy to victory in the 2011 Golden Slipper â rides the Peter & Paul Snowden-trained Khan first-up on the weekend in place of the suspended Blake Shinn.
The Exceed And Excel colt took out the Listed Breedersâ Plate (1000m) on debut at Randwick and has trialled nicely twice since including an 800m Gosford win by 2.3 lengths on February 6.
Early money has rolled in for Veranillo in barrier four, Brenton Avdulla riding the John OâShea-trained son of Medaglia DâOro who also chases his third win from as many career starts.
Avdulla replaces the stableâs rider James Doyle who suffered an injury during the race fall aboard the ill-fated Pearls at Randwick on Monday afternoon.
The colt took out an 1100m Rosehill race on debut last November before resuming to take out the Listed Lonhro Plate (1100m) at Randwick on February 4 in fine fashion.
The value could be in the promising Anthony Cummings-trained Pluck filly Lucky Louie at $17.
She ran third on debut last October in the Listed Gimcrack Stakes (1000m) at the same price narrowly defeated before a second to Invincible Star in the Group 3 Ottawa Stakes (1000m) at Flemington on Melbourne Cup Day.
Lucky Louie should enjoy the extra distance on Saturday and has Glyn Schofield aboard from barrier three.
The rails-drawn Showtime is at a $20 quote to break his maiden status, the Team Hawkes-trained Snitzel colt coming off a fourth to Pariah in the Group 3 Canonbury Stakes (1100m) at the track from late January.
Silver Slipper Stakes markets are rounded out by the Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott-trained Widden Stakes runner-up Mystic Empire ($21) who is a daughter of All Too Hard and Sepoy gelding Lightz ($51).
