The four-year-old daughter of I Am Invincible convincingly won the Magic Millions Fillies & Mares Handicap (1300m) on January 9 by two lengths before blitzing a Warwick Farm trial on February 22 over Group 1 winner Tiger Tees.
She runs at Royal Randwick this weekend after the freshen-up as one of 13 mares in the field for the $150,000 Group 3 Wenona Girl Handicap (1200m) that runs as Randwick Race 9 at 5:30pm (AEDT) on Saturday.
She is drawn in gate nine with Tim Clark booked for the ride and gets in on the 54kg minimum along with all but two of the other runners in the card closer.
Current Wenona Girl Handicap odds at Ladbrokes.com.au have the well-weighted I Am Zelady paying a firming $3.50 for the win after she opened at around $4.20 making her the early market mover.
There are four other single figure hopes in Wenona Girl Handicap betting this Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival including Private Secretary ($5) with a wide gate 12 draw to overcome.
Gregory Hickman prepares the Husson six-year-old who is two-from-four at the Randwick track and coming off a second in the Gold Coast race behind I Am Zelady last time out.
The next best fancied at $6 is Iâve Got The Looks who has run third in three of her four runs this time in.
Prepared by Peter & Paul Snowden the Choisir six-year-old hasnât won since a black-type success in Brisbane back in May last year but has been consistent in good company this season.
Two back she ran just a quarter length third to Amicus in the Group 2 Breedersâ Classic (1200m) at Randwick before her one length third to First Seal in the Group 2 Millie Fox Stakes (1300m) at Rosehill on February 20.
Iâve Got The Looks goes up in weight from 54kg to 56.5kg for Saturday so needs to handle the extra kilos, but has a strong 1200m record of seven wins, a second and four thirds from 18 starts at the distance sheâs back down to here.
Also high up the markets are Artistry ($8) and the lightly-raced Flashing Speed ($8.50) who defends an unbeaten record from barrier one with James McDonald in the saddle.
A stablemate to Iâve Got The Looks, four-year-old Shamardal mare Artistry has barrier 10 on the weekend for her maiden run since a good two and a half length win over 1500m at Rosehill last October.
She is two-from-three first-up and trialled well at Randwick behind Speak Fondly last month ahead of her return where she sees the course for the first time under race conditions.
Flashing Speed meanwhile has had just two career runs so far, but the Anthony Cummings-trained War Pass four-year-old has won both.
She is an interesting edition to the line-up and if she comes on in class could surprise as one of the ones the punters are coming for early.
