Chris Wallerâs super colt Press Statement is installed at an odds-on price in Randwick Guineas 2016 betting this weekend to enjoy his third elite level win over a mile.

The ultra-consistent son of Hinchinbrook took out the JJ Atkins in Brisbane last winter and the Caulfield Guineas in Melbourne during the spring and is now hot favourite to add another top level win over the distance in Saturdayâs $1 million Group 1 Randwick Guineas (1600m).
The classic has drawn a final field of 13 and Press Statement is clearly the one to beat looking at the Randwick Guineas odds at Ladbrokes.com.au that have him at $1.50.
Heâs drawn out in barrier 12, but two of the past four Randwick Guineas winners overcame that gate with the filly Mosheen (2012) and Dissident (2014).
Press Statement proved his autumn fitness first-up with a big win in the Group 2 Hobartville Stakes (1400m) a fortnight ago and is now looking to complete the double with the Randwick Guineas for the third time in as many years.
There are just two other runners under double figures in the current Randwick Guineas betting markets with the sole filly in the mix Stay With Me ($7.50) and Montaigne ($9.50) coming off a third in the Hobartville.
David Hayes & Tom Dabernig prepare Street Cry filly Stay With Me who won the Group 1 Thousand Guineas (1600m) last October.
She has had two runs this time in, the latest a third to Ghisoni in the Group 2 Surround Stakes (1400m) at Randwick, and if the pace suits this weekend she is a big hope from barrier five with Glyn Schofield in the saddle in place of Kerrin McEvoy.
Montaigne is only a lightly raced galloper, the Anthony Cummings-trained gelding stepping up to black-type company for the first time at his fourth start when third in the Hobartville Stakes.
It was a brave run and he is a dual winner at Randwick, the extra metres look like theyâll be ideal and heâll be in the finish from barrier three for sure at good odds.
The only other hope under $21 for an upset is the early market mover Le Romain backed in from $18 to $14.
Newcastleâs Kris Lees trains the Hobartville Stakes runner-up who was also second the run before in the Group 3 Eskimo Prince Stakes (1200m) to Spill The Beans.
He has winning form at Randwick and was chasing home the favourite last start, he needs to prove he can handle a mile and wonât catch Press Statement but heâs a top three hope again for sure.
Other noteworthy chances in the exotics include the Murray Baker-trained Kiwi Dal Cielo who was second to Mahuta in the Sandown Guineas in the spring, Michael Moroneyâs CS Hayes third placegetter at Flemington last start Tulsa and even the John OâShea-trained Shards out to atone for his Hobartville 11th.
